Road contitions on St. Lucia
Main roads are in good shape, but the back roads are not kept up, so be careful not to drive too fast and watch out for potholes and areas of the road that have been washed out. Some of the back roads are also not well-marked, and they wind up and down hills and along the coast. The main roads and roads between the main towns and cities are paved, but roads between the smaller villages are unpaved.
